Education Requirements

The bare minimum to become a civil engineer is a bachelor's degree in civil engineering. A bachelor's degree in either a civil engineer specialty field or a degree in civil engineering technology are also acceptable. These houses consist of some common materials such as math, statistics engineering systems and mechanics and perhaps an extra subject or two depending on any specialty field you decide to study. Courses include hands on learning to get a feel for the job with labs and fieldwork as well as cooperative programs that give students work experience while working towards their degree.
